Location | Near Timberville, Rockingham County, Virginia. From Harrisonburg take Route 42 north to Timberville. Stay on Route 42 through Timberville & turn right onto Route 211 (New Market Road). Proceed to Route 953 (Plains Mill Road) and take a left. Go approximately 1.9 miles & cemetery is on the right side of the road. Turn into driveway & get permission at the house to visit the cemetery. |
Notes | Upon entering cemetery, rows are recorded from front to back and from left to right. It is enclosed by an iron fence & maintained. In 1967 J. Robert Swank noted "The Moffet plantation now owned by Harold Hingerdner. There may be others resting here. Many stones down." |
