Saturday, March 29, 10:30 am

With Peggy Ann Shifflett

Join Peggy Ann Shifflett, acclaimed author and researcher, for a fun workshop on historical and family research! Drawing from her latest book, Shenandoah Valley Farmer: John Isaac Myers, co-authored with Donald W. Myers, Shifflett will reveal how primary source documents—especially bank checks—unlock family stories and community history.

With her signature humor and storytelling, Shifflett will guide attendees through tracing records  and collecting memories to uncover new insights into their ancestors’ lives. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or a genealogy researcher, this session will offer valuable tools and engaging local history.
